Services Offered:
We pride ourselves on being able to offer some much needed services for the McPherson community. We strive to put our motto, Modern Medicine with an Old Fashioned Heart, to the test daily. We hope that you feel as though your pet receives the best possible care during their time with us!
Surgery
Your pet's safety, health, and a quick recovery are our top priorities!
We are equipped for routine procedures such as: spay and neuter surgeries, soft tissue surgeries, basic orthopedic procedures, and emergency procedures. We also offer dental cleanings with our state of the art ultrasonic scaler and polisher. Our staff is highly-trained to deliver the safest, most advanced surgical techniques and support from pre-op to post-op.
Prior to any surgery, we will perform a complete physical examination. We recommend pre-anesthetic blood work to ensure that we are aware of every aspect of your pet's health. Based on your pet's physical condition and procedure planned, we then create a personalized anesthetic plan.
Throughout the procedure, our trained technicians monitor heart rate, breathing rate, blood oxygenation levels, and anesthetic depth.
We monitor all pets after anesthesia to make sure they're warm and comfortable.

Digital Radiography
Radiography is a valuable diagnostic tool. A radiograph (also called an x-ray) is a way to look inside the body and reveal information that may not be discernible from the outside. Radiography can be used to evaluate almost any organ as well as the bones.
Radiography is painless, safe, and completely non-invasive. It uses a very low doses of radiation. Because the level of radiation exposure needed to perform radiographs is so low, it is safe for pregnant females and very young pets. Radiographs can be used to evaluate bones as well as the size, shape, and position of many of the body's organs. Radiography can also be used to diagnose bladder stones, broken bones, chronic arthritis, certain spinal cord diseases, and a variety of other conditions. We use a digital radiograph that allows us to send pictures to consultants who quickly get back with us about their finding.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a noninvasive, painless way to evaluate internal organs. It is commonly used to evaluate pregnancy, assist in sample collection, diagnose masses or identify abnormalities.
Ultrasounds work by emitting high frequency sound waves at internal organs. The sound bounces off the organ, producing an echo which is then converted into a visual image by a transmitter.
